چکیده
We propose an entirely redesigned framework of bandlimited signal reconstruction for the time encoding machine (TEM) introduced by Lazar and Toth. As part TEM consists in obtaining integral values a input over known intervals, it theoretically amounts to applying linear operator on input. then approach general question pseudo-inversion this operator. perform task numerically iteratively using projections onto convex sets (POCS). The algorithm can be implemented exactly discrete with multiplications that are all reduced scaling signed powers two, thanks use relaxation coefficients. Meanwhile, achieves rate convergence similar For real-time processing, we approximate time-varying FIR implementation, which avoids splitting into blocks. finally some preliminary semi-convergence analysis under data noise.

Reconstruction of Nonuniformly Sampled Bandlimited Signals by Means of Time-Varying Discrete-Time FIR Filters
This paper deals with reconstruction of nonuniformly sampled bandlimited continuous-time signals using time-varying discretetime finite-length impulse response (FIR) filters. The main theme of the paper is to show how a slight oversampling should be utilized for designing the reconstruction filters in a proper manner. Based on a time-frequency function, it is shown that the reconstruction probl...

This paper deals with reconstruction of nonuniformly sampled bandlimited continuous-time signals using time-varying discrete-time FIR filters. The point of departure is a representation of the reconstructed sequence that utilizes a time-frequency function. This representation enables a proper utilization of the slight oversampling that is assumed and reduces the reconstruction problem to a desi...
متن کاملTime encoding and perfect recovery of bandlimited signals
A Time Encoding Machine is a real-time asynchronous mechanism for encoding amplitude information into a time sequence. We investigate the operating characteristics of a machine consisting of a feedback loop containing an adder, a linear filter and a Schmmitt trigger. We show how to recover the amplitude information of a bandlimited signal from the time sequence loss-free.

متن کاملNeuronal Mechanisms and Transformations Encoding Time-Varying Signals
Sensation in natural environments requires the analysis of time-varying signals. While previous work has uncovered how a signal's temporal rate is represented by neurons in sensory cortex, in this issue of Neuron, new evidence from Gao et al. (2016) provides insights on the underlying mechanisms.
